BORDER PATROL features the real high-grade Germanium Opticsthat is paired with advanced Vanadium Oxide (VOx) uncooled TAU II 336×256 micro bolometer core and proprietary electronics. The device body is nitrogen-purged, and is water-, dust- and shock-proof. The device is action ready in virtually any environment including severe conditions when the environmental obscurants such as smoke, dust, haze, fog, are present. For optimum performance, there is a wide range of menu-driven options including switchable image polarity, manual screen brightness control, digital zoom.
