The Aero Precision AR-15 Gen 2 Stripped Lower Receiver is the perfect base for your custom AR15 build. Machined to mil-spec dimensions, Aero Precision lowers work with standard AR15 components and ensure the highest quality with a correct component interface. The upper tensioning feature allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver. An increased magwell flare allows for easier insertion of magazines and provides a sleeker look.

These are my favorite AR lowers. The value and features they offer is unmatched at this price point, which is higher right now than normal due to current circumstances. I like this one even better than their M4E1 “premium” lower. The threaded hole for the bolt catch allows the use of a screw instead of a roll pin. The hole in the rear for the safety detent spring is threaded as well, keeping that spring captive while installing the end plate. The reason I like this one better than the M4E1 is that my Geisselle trigger wouldn’t fit in mine, so I had to use a CMC which barely fit. Also I tried a short throw Battle Arms safety (one of the main reasons I chose this lower was the short throw safety) which also would not fit. So in my opinion this is the dollar for dollar champ in the less expensive lower bracket. Machining is top notch, finish is great, and paired with their uppers have been very tight fitting and accurate with a good barrel.

This is my fourth lower, and my first Aero Precision. The quality seems nice and the finish is just as good. I purchased a Daniel Defense lower parts kit to assemble it. I’m excited for the results.
